Full job description

Hotel Maintenance

The Holbrook Manor Hotel & Spa is looking for a dynamic skilled hotel maintenance staff . Suitable candidates must be experienced in a similar position, organised, self-motivated and passionate about handwork. If you are passionate about customer service, hardworking and work experience in the hotel industry, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable experience for the guests and fellow colleagues.

Main responsibilities

Undertaking Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) tasks
Manage first line response to any associated service request
Carrying out installations of small equipment
Electrical troubleshooting
Replace tubes, lamps and lamp fittings
Minor decoration and refurbishment
Unblock sinks, toilets and drains as required
Repair leaks, fit new tap washers, repair ballcocks etc
Light Plumbing installations as required
Adjust doors, tighten hinges, change or fit locks and door closers
Water testing for temperatures and diseases etc
Any other duties of a similar nature as required by the hotel management.

Requirements

Holding valid driving licence is preferred
Work experience as a Hotel Maintenance or similar role
Proven property/building maintenance experience in carpentry, plumbing, wall paper, tiling and decoration works
Ability to work under pressure and in a busy team environment
Legal right to work in the UK
