Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and personable Senior Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Lead the bar team by example, providing guidance and support to junior staff
- Ensure all drinks are prepared in accordance with company standards and health & safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Manage stock levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste
- Engage with guests to create a memorable experience, addressing any special requests or concerns
- Monitor guest interactions to uphold high levels of service quality and professionalism
- Assist in training new team members on drink preparation, customer service, and safety procedures
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bartender within a busy hospitality environment, ideally with restaurant experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve confidently and courteously
- Proficiency in basic maths for handling bills, change, and inventory management
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not essential; leadership qualities are highly valued
- Personal qualities include professionalism, adaptability, and a genuine passion for hospitality
