We are looking for a Director of Project Delivery who can lead high value business projects from planning through completion. This role is ideal for an experienced leader who understands project governance, stakeholder management, team leadership, and commercial delivery. You will oversee multiple workstreams, guide project teams, manage senior client relationships, and ensure that every project is delivered with quality, accuracy, and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery Leadership: Lead the full delivery lifecycle of multiple business projects, from planning and resource allocation to execution, reporting, and final handover.
Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior clients, internal leaders, and delivery teams to align expectations, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project managers, coordinators, and support staff, ensuring clear responsibilities, accountability, and high performance.
Governance and Reporting: Establish project controls, track milestones, manage risks, and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
Operational Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, strengthen communication, and increase efficiency across project teams.
Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project costs, staffing needs, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects remain commercially and operationally successful.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 7+ years of experience in project delivery, operations, business services, or programme management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage teams, lead cross functional projects, and make confident decisions under pressure.
Project Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of project planning, risk management, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and delivery governance.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present updates clearly to senior stakeholders and clients.
Commercial Mindset: Able to balance client expectations, project quality, timelines, and cost control.
Mindset: Organised, practical, and results driven. You know how to keep projects moving while maintaining professional standards and strong client relationships.
Pay: £71,500.00-£117,000.00 per year
