Full job description

Reports to: Department Manager

Shift: 2 Shift rotation cycle (Days, Evenings)

Day Shift: Mon-Fri 6am-3pm (Sat 6am-11am)

Evening shift: Mon-Fri 3pm-Midnight

Pay Rate: Days £15.70 per hour. Evenings £16.30 per hour.

Location: 16 Silverwood Industrial Area, Lurgan

Employment Type: Permanent

Job Overview:

Silverwood Enterprise are one of the market leaders in the galvanising industry. We now have an opportunity for a hard-working, committed and ambitious individual to join our team.

The main duties of this role will be to work as part of a vibrant and busy team, providing support to the Department Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure loads required for the production process are loaded in a timely fashion.
Ensure all paperwork associated with the role is maintained.
Assist in the smooth functioning of the department during periods of absence or holidays.
Deal courteously and professionally with all customers.
Liaise directly with Sales and Production Management.

The Ideal Candidate:

Must have a current Forklift Truck licence.
Experience of loading and off-loading trailers.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a target-based environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player.
Flexible.
Be able to work to strict health & safety standards.
Willingness to work flexible/irregular hours when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £37,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
