TMC Garden Buildings is a specialist installation company, installing high-quality garden buildings, log cabins, summerhouses, sheds, and garden offices across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic Assistant Garden Buildings Installer to join our expanding installation team.

About the Role As an Assistant Garden Buildings Installer, you will work alongside an experienced installer, assisting with the installation of garden buildings safely, professionally, and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. No previous installation experience is necessary as full training will be provided. Due to the nature of the role, there may be occasions where weekend working is required during busy periods or to complete installations. From time to time, overnight stays may also be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead installer with the installation of garden buildings, log cabins, summerhouses, sheds, and garden offices.
- Prepare work sites by organising tools, materials, and equipment required for each installation.
- Help unload and position building materials safely and efficiently.
- Learn to read and follow technical drawings, plans, and installation instructions.
- Ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
- Assist with quality checks to ensure installations meet company standards.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and tidy throughout the installation process.
- Help maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition.
- Provide a professional, friendly, and courteous service to customers at all times.
- Work closely with the lead installer and Installation Manager to complete projects on schedule.
About You The ideal candidate will have:

- Good practical skills and an interest in construction or DIY.
- The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Good physical fitness, including the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends and overnight stays.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
