Marquee Rigger
We are a well established marquee hire firm based in Tempsford near Sandy. For the last 20 years we have built an exceptional reputation for our operations and customer service.
We are looking for positive, fit and enthusiastic individuals to be part of a small crew to prep equipment and install/derig wedding and festival marquees from June to Early October. This is a seasonal role.
This opportunity will require the candidate to hold a full UK driving licence, demonstrate a high level of hands on competency, the ability to work well with others and a contentious nature. The candidate should thrive on a challenge, enjoy hard work, and most of all, be able to have fun with it.
On the job training will be given, so no prior experience is required and we are happy to invest in the right candidate.
We have a small, but fantastic team of staff. As part of our close knit team, you will not be just a number. Your opinions and ideas will be encouraged and acted upon.

- Ok with long hours and early starts during peak season
- Holder of a driving licence as a minimum (B+E and Class 2 entitlements are a huge positive) and be willing to drive work vans

- Being more interested in your mobile phone than the work
- Those who’s confidence vastly exceeds their ability
- Those who feel 9 hours is a long day
Days can be anywhere from 8 to 12 hours May-Oct.
We work most bank holidays, therefore there is a full 28 days holiday entitlement pro rata.
There is also a £400 end of season incentive paid out pro rata to all staff completing the events season.
Rates are negotiable depending on the candidate skill set, attitude, presentability, driving entitlements and general ability.
We are happy to invest in wages for the right candidate.
