The Role
Working closely with the Financial Controller and senior leadership team, you’ll play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting business growth.
This is a hands-on, varied role offering exposure to both strategic planning and operational delivery — including the fast-paced environment of race day events.
You will:
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Produce accurate and timely management accounts
- Deliver insights that influence key business decisions
- Partner with senior leaders on planning and strategy
- Drive cost control and value across the organisation
- Support race day finance, from forecasting to post-event reporting
- Monitor contracts to ensure value for money
- Support balance sheet management and compliance
- Prepare reports for senior management and the board
- Build strong relationships across the business
You’ll be at the heart of decision-making, helping to shape both strategic direction and day-to-day operations.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Part-qualified (or currently studying) ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Commercially aware with strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Confident working with and influencing senior stakeholders
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in IT systems, including Excel
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
