Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Navigator/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring smooth patient flow within our facility. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, creating a welcoming environment
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming bookings
- Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, directing enquiries appropriately
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the electronic health record system
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing correspondence
- Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and external agencies as needed
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and organised at all times
- Support the care team with general administrative duties to facilitate efficient clinic operations
Requirements
- Previous office or administrative experience is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Compassionate approach with a focus on patient confidentiality and privacy
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in standard office software programmes such as MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands within the healthcare setting
Pay: From £24,521.00 per year
