Trauma Informed Teaching Assistant

Haverfordwest High VC School

Grade 5 - £26,824 for 30 hours per week for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £19,104.58 pro rata.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Haverfordwest High VC School for a full-time Trauma-Informed Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will support identified pupils who have experienced significant trauma. They will deliver sessions through activities that enable pupils to identify their responses to events and adapt behaviours in order to effectively access the curriculum.

A good standard of education, and an understanding of children/young peoples’ needs and rights, together with experience of working with children is essential for this role. If you feel you have the desire, determination and skills to join our team and feel able to meet the significant challenges that will come with the post we would love to hear from you.
