Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing participants of various ages and skill levels in gymnastics, fostering a safe and encouraging environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to share your expertise in sports coaching and teaching, helping individuals develop their skills and confidence in gymnastics.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to different age groups and abilities
Demonstrate proper techniques for various gymnastic moves and routines
Monitor participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
Ensure all training activities are conducted in a safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Organise and supervise warm-up, cool-down, and stretching exercises before and after sessions
Maintain equipment safety checks and report any maintenance needs promptly
Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and enjoyment of the sport

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines
Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners of all ages
Excellent organisational skills to plan effective training programmes
Good communication skills to clearly demonstrate techniques and provide feedback
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required
Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is preferred
A passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles among participants

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £5.50-£15.00 per hour
