Job Overview

Duties

Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and placing orders for supplies
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and supporting medication administration processes when appropriate
Maintain precise records of medication transactions, prescriptions, and inventory logs
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area to uphold safety standards
Support medication delivery to patients or healthcare facilities as needed
Follow all safety protocols and legal requirements related to medication handling and patient confidentiality

Requirements

Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare support role is highly preferred
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations
Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Basic computer skills for managing records and pharmacy software systems
Certification or training in pharmacy assistance or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory
A proactive attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team
