Dance Assistant – Children’s Dance Classes (Bradley Stoke - Tuesdays, Downend Thursdays)
Location: Varies sites across Bristol and South Glos - main night being a tuesday at Bradley Stoke and Downend Thursday - with opportunity to pick up cover shifts at various locations.
We are also looking for Dance assistants in the Weston super mare area, Newport and Caerphilly area on multiple days
Days Required: Tuesday (essential) & Thursdays
Hours: Part-time - all year round ( 4 weeks holiday + 2 weeks off at christmas)
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable Dance Assistant to support our children’s dance classes across our Bristol and South Glos schools.
This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, enjoys dance and movement, and wants to build confidence and experience in a supportive, positive environment.
You will start the first 3 months as an assistant with the opportunity to lead your own schools as you train and develope.
The Role:
- Assisting the lead instructor during children’s dance classes
- Supporting children with confidence, focus, and engagement
- Helping with class organisation, warm-ups, routines, and transitions
- Creating a fun, safe, and encouraging atmosphere
- Supporting behaviour positively and professionally
- Following the MF Dance proven systems to provide high quality classes
- Support in the marketing and promotion of the schools to ensure new children are being reached to join
You Must:
- Be available every Tuesday
- Be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Enjoy working with children (ages approx. 3–17)
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Have a desire to build a meaningful career within dance and leading the younger generation
Desirable (but not essential):
- Dance experience or interest in street dance/performing arts
- Experience working with children (schools, clubs, coaching, childcare, etc.)
- Studying dance, performing arts, sport, or education
