Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated <PERSON>/stonemason to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of masonry tasks, including building, repairing, and restoring structures using natural and manufactured stones. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to the realisation of high-quality architectural and structural designs. The ideal applicant will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Constructing walls using cotswold stone
Preparing surfaces by cleaning, chiselling, and setting out work areas accurately
Operating hand tools such as chisels, hammers, trowels, and levels with precision
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during project execution

Requirements

Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or related construction roles
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in masonry work
Knowledge of bricklaying techniques and materials
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Physical fitness to handle lifting heavy materials and perform demanding manual tasks over extended periods
Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in masonry or construction are advantageous
