Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oaklands for a mini bus Driver/Courier to provide a flexible driving service to the College including transporting students and staff.

Oaklands is ambitious at reaching a greater number of individuals, businesses and stakeholders through its diverse group, to grow our portfolio and offer, to meet global economic and social needs in a transformational way and we are seeking a mini bus Driver/Courier to play a vital role in our journey.

We are looking for a mini bus Driver/Courier to join our team and play a crucial role in providing a driving/courier service to the college. In this position, you will:

Provide a transport service for learners in college mini buses.
Provide the college courier/post service.
Provide assistance in moving equipment.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, colleagues and end users.
To develop awareness of Health and Safety regulations in area of responsibility

The ideal candidate criteria will;

Possess a clean driving licence with 3 years driving experience.
Possess both a PCV and full D1 Licence.
Experience of carrying out vehicle and maintenance checks.
Experience of working with young people and the public.
Experience of working with minimum supervision.
