Typical Activities
Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Production, Quality and Customer Support, the Production Operator will support the build, test and repair of secure electronic products while ensuring high quality and compliance standards.
- Assemble, test and repair electronic products
- Maintain detailed and accurate test records
- Provide regular progress updates to the Production Manager
- Support quality inspections and investigations
- Assist with stock control and inventory tracking
- Carry out fault identification and basic diagnostics on assemblies
- Follow and uphold IT security and production processes
- Track repairs and update internal systems accordingly
- Produce reports on production progress and root cause analysis
- Participate in daily stand-ups with Engineering and Support teams
What we're looking for
- Experience in a production environment working with electronic and/or mechanical assemblies
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience using Windows-based applications (e.g. Excel, Word)
- Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
- Good time management skills and ownership of tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and improve processes
- Flexible approach to adopting new technologies and techniques
Desirable
- PCB assembly/rework experience (including SMT components to IPC standards)
- Experience fault-finding electronic assemblies to component level
- Mechanical assembly experience
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience using Linux

Qualifications & Eligibility
To be eligible for this position you must:
- Have relevant hands-on experience in a production or electronics environment; and,
- Be a British citizen; and
- Hold or be eligible for UK National Security Vetting (NSV) - DV level clearance.
