The role

Working closely with the Reception Manager and wider Front Office team, you will play a key role in delivering a warm, friendly and efficient service to every guest, ensuring their stay is memorable from arrival to departure. You’ll also:

Welcome guests and provide a friendly and professional first impression at all times
Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in reservations and billing
Respond to guest enquiries, requests and calls promptly and effectively
Provide information about hotel facilities, services and the local area
Ensure all payment processes are handled in line with company procedures
Maintain a clean, organised and presentable reception area
Communicate effectively with housekeeping and other departments to support guest needs
Handle guest feedback and complaints in a professional and positive manner
Some operational duties may include, not limited to, assistance with guest luggage and room drops.

As a Guest Services Assistant, you will be passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality and creating positive experiences for every guest. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a collaborative team. You will also have:

A warm, welcoming and professional approach to guest service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
Confidence in handling guest enquiries, bookings and requests
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
A proactive and solutions-focused attitude
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build positive relationships across departments
Basic IT skills and confidence using reservation or booking systems
