About the Role

We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Senior Carer to join our team at Grenham Bay Care Home. In this important role, you’ll help create a safe, comfortable, and homely environment for our residents, ensuring they receive the highest quality care that’s tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the care team to ensure excellent care for our residents.
Make sure residents’ needs are met with kindness, respect, and dignity.
Act as a role model, promoting best practices and professionalism.
Assist with care planning, maintaining daily records, and facilitating handovers.
Support and guide both new and experienced team members in their roles.
Communicate effectively with residents’ families and other professionals.
Monitor residents’ well-being and respond to any changes in their condition with care.

About You

Previous experience in a residential care or senior care role is essential.
You’ll need a Level 2 in Health & Social Care, and working towards Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
You should be confident in leading a team and supporting your colleagues.
You’re caring, reliable, and organised.
Strong communication skills are a must, especially when working with families and other professionals.
You’re passionate about providing exceptional care and making a real difference in the lives of our residents.
