Job Summary

We are recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager on behalf of a well established building services contractor based in Bracknell, Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a close knit team of 30 people that genuinely values and invests in its people.

You will be managing mechanical projects ranging from £500,000 to £2 million across a diverse range of sectors including healthcare, education and commercial environments across London and the South of England.

Responsibilities

Managing mechanical projects from inception through to handover
Overseeing site teams and managing subcontractors
Client liaison and relationship management
Programme management and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Managing variations and ensuring commercial awareness throughout delivery
Maintaining health and safety standards across all projects
Working closely with the wider project and engineering team

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within an MEP or mechanical contractor
Experience managing projects in the £500,000 to £2 million range
Strong knowledge of mechanical installations within commercial, healthcare or education environments
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors effectively
Good understanding of contract administration and project commercials
SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification desirable
CSCS card holder
Commutable to Bracknell, Berkshire — candidates must be based within a reasonable distance
