Job Purpose Summary

Conduct activities to facilitate the transit of product through the warehouse, ensuring accurate records of product receipt, location and movement are created in line with the quality management system.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Maintain shipping area to a high standard of organisation, ensure your working area is tidy and practice good housekeeping.
Visually check labelling and associated documentation for any errors on product ready for dispatch and report to the warehouse manager/supervisor.
Package product to a high standard, ensuring that the correct packing material is used to ensure the product is not damaged during transit.
Use of the courier shipping terminals to ensure the accurate generation of all necessary documentation.
Report any shortages of packing material before running out the warehouse manager.
Support of goods in when required. Cross training to be provided.
Assist on stock checks/cycle counts.
General housekeeping duties within the warehouse when required.
