Full job description

We're looking for a motivated and reliable Installer's Assistant to join our team, working alongside our HETAS-registered installer to help install wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves, fireplaces, liners and chimney systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a skilled trade from an experienced professional, making it an ideal role for a school or college leaver looking to build a long-term career.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the installation of stoves, fireplaces and flue systems.
Helping to line chimneys and prepare installation sites.
Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Supporting the lead installer on a variety of domestic installations.

What we're looking for:

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good practical skills and a strong work ethic.
Ability to carry out manual work, including heavy lifting.
Comfortable working at height.
Punctual, reliable and able to work well as part of a team.

No previous experience is necessary - full training will be provided. If you're looking to learn a hands-on trade with excellent long-term prospects, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay: £8.00-£12.00 per hour
