We are hiring a Manufacturing Systems Business Analyst, combining hands-on operational planning and supply chain coordination with genuine ownership of a live ERP rollout. You will maintain data integrity, support customer delivery commitments, and enable better business decision-making across the company. We develop and produce vehicle body structures and interior trim for the ultra-exclusive, ultra-high-value automotive sector. We are partners on premium, low-volume programmes for luxury global automotive brands such as Mercedes-AMG, McLaren, Ford GT, Aston Martin, Pininfarina, Gordon Murray and many more on such vehicles as, amongst others, the Mer-cedes AMG-ONE, Pininfarina’s Battista and Aston Martin’s Valkyrie Pro.
We deliver all aspects of design, engineering, testing and manufacture from a single facility. This vertical integration represents considerable supply chain benefits to our customers and a broad working environment for our teams.
In addition we deliver full vehicle development, including chassis and powertrain, to high net-worth heritage racers via our heritage racing division, ADP Classic Racing. We restore and rebuild high-end classic racing cars, prepare drivers, manage a programme of touring and racing, and provide full event support.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory and stock control. Coordinate stock takes across manufacturing, warehousing, and external processing. Consolidate and validate inventory data. Maintain Excel/VBA inventory tools and resolve discrepancies with operations, supply chain, and quality.
- Planning and WIP. Monitor work-in-progress on a car-by-car basis. Track raw materials, external processing, assembly, quality, engineering changes, and capacity. Make sure the shop floor always knows what to build next. Calculate ETDs, identify shortages and runout risk, and drive recovery plans.
- External supplier coordination. Track material flows to and from suppliers. Reconcile external inventory, quality and quantity Monitor ETAs and communicate impacts internally.
- Data analysis and reporting. Maintain and develop reporting tools, dashboards, and KPI trackers. Produce reports on inventory coverage, WIP status, delivery performance, and runout Prepare customer-facing status updates and management review packs.
- ERP transition. Support the ERP rollout across programmes. Maintain data integrity between existing tools and the new system, validate master data, run UAT, and support users.
- Cross-functional collaboration. Work closely with production, purchasing, quality, engineering, logistics, and programme management to keep planning assumptions grounded in operational reality.
Skills & Experience Required
- Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, dynamic arrays, pivots, dashboards, data validation, and VBA maintenance and development.
- Experience in production planning, supply chain, operations, inventory management, or data analysis in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of MRP, inventory management, and production planning principles.
- Hands-on ERP experience, whether as a user, super-user, or implementation support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly across functions.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or related.
Desirable:
- Experience within automotive manufacturing, preferably in low-volume or high-customisation environments.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations, system migrations, or digital transformation projects.
- Knowledge of master data management principles.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes involving carbon fibre, painted components, leather, electronics, or luxury interiors.
- Understanding of engineering change management and quality processes.
- Experience with process mapping, user acceptance testing (UAT), and continuous improvement methodologies.
Additional Expectations
The role requires a flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to business needs. While the key responsibilities cover the main duties of the role, additional tasks aligned with the general scope and level of responsibility may be required.

Salary
circa. £65,000 – £75,000 – subject to skills and experience.
