Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman/woman. In this role you will be responsible for executing a wide range of hands-on tasks across various trade disciplines, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Your expertise will help us deliver quality craftsmanship on diverse projects, from building structures to performing repairs and installations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to apply their technical skills in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth.

This role will be based on a large plot of land undergoing renovation.

Duties

Fabricate, assemble, and install structural components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
Perform carpentry and joinery work to construct or repair frameworks, fixtures, and finishes
Use roofing techniques to install or repair roofing systems, ensuring durability and weather resistance
Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials and equipment around the worksite
Carry out construction painting to prepare surfaces and apply finishes that meet project specifications
Install plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings, adhering to safety standards and codes
Execute masonry work such as laying bricks or stones for walls, facades, or other structures
Apply electrical experience for basic wiring tasks or assist licensed electricians with complex installations
Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete tasks accurately and safely
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Experience

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, masonry, plumbing or electrical work within the construction industry
Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively across various trades
Experience with heavy lifting equipment or techniques preferred but not required
Knowledge of construction painting techniques and safety standards
Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction sites
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
