About JWE Media
JWE Media is a media planning and buying agency helping brands reach audiences across digital, audio, video, out-of-home, radio, TV and more.

We are looking for a commercially driven salesperson with a genuine track record of selling social-media advertising. This is not a social-media management or content role. You will have sold paid social campaigns, packages or solutions to clients and understand how to turn business objectives into opportunities across platforms such as Meta, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.

You will join JWE to grow our digital-media revenue, develop new client relationships and expand opportunities within our existing client base. Alongside selling paid social, you will learn how to sell wider digital-media products including programmatic display, connected TV, digital out-of-home, digital audio and online video.

The role
You will be responsible for winning and growing digital-media revenue through a mix of proactive new-business outreach and collaboration with JWE’s existing sales team.

You will:

Sell paid-social advertising solutions across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
Prospect proactively through calls, email, LinkedIn, networking and account research.
Build relationships with marketing decision-makers, understand their objectives and create relevant media proposals.
Work with JWE salespeople to identify digital opportunities within existing traditional-media clients.
Cross-sell paid social alongside radio, TV, out-of-home and other media activity.
Learn, develop and confidently present JWE’s wider programmatic offering, including programmatic display, CTV, DOOH, digital audio and online video.
Manage opportunities from initial contact through to proposal, negotiation, close and campaign handover.
Maintain an accurate pipeline and work towards agreed activity, meeting and revenue targets.
Work with planning, buying and campaign teams to ensure proposals are commercially sound and client-ready.
Build long-term client relationships and identify repeat and upsell opportunities.

What we are looking for
You must have:

Proven experience selling paid-social advertising or social-media marketing solutions to businesses.
Experience discussing and selling advertising on platforms such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or YouTube.
A demonstrable record of proactive new-business activity, including cold calling, outreach and self-generated meetings.
Evidence of personally winning clients, closing revenue and working to sales targets.
Strong commercial communication skills and confidence speaking with senior marketing decision-makers.
The ability to understand a client’s audience, objective, budget and campaign challenge before recommending a solution.
A genuine interest in developing into wider digital media, particularly programmatic advertising.
A positive, resilient and target-driven approach.
The ability to work full-time from our Canary Wharf office, Monday to Friday.

Desirable experience

Selling agency services, media, advertising, digital marketing, lead generation or SaaS.
Experience selling into SMEs, local businesses, retail, hospitality, property, automotive, leisure or consumer brands.
Knowledge of programmatic, CTV, DOOH, digital audio, Google Ads or display advertising.
Existing relationships with marketing managers, founders, business owners or agency contacts.
