Private Nanny / Childcare Specialist (Self-Employed)

Location: Norwich and surrounding Norfolk areas (NR4)

Pay: £14-16 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Type: Part-time, Flexible, Freelance / Subcontractor

About Complete Concierge

Complete Concierge provides premium home services across Norfolk. We match experienced childcare professionals with busy local families to care for their children, offering you flexible hours and parents total peace of mind.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding, nurturing care for young children within their home environment.
Handle weekly routine logistics, including safe drop-offs and pick-ups from school, nursery, and after-school clubs.
Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities to encourage early years development.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized environment in child-centered areas of the home.
Maintain open, professional communication with parents regarding daily routines and updates.

What You’ll Need to Apply (Essential):

Proven Experience: Strong background in early years, childminding, or professional nannying.
Reliable Transport: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential for school runs and activities).
Background Check: A clean, enhanced DBS check, preferably registered to the update service (or a willingness to undergo one immediately).
Tax Status: Registered (or willing to register) as self-employed with HMRC.
Traits: Excellent time management skills, an approachable demeanor, and a genuine passion for working with families.

What Will Make Your Application Stand Out (Desirable):

Valid Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certification.
Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Early Years or equivalent).
Business car insurance and public liability cover.
