HGV Skip Driver – Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £39,000–£42,000 per annum
Location: Thornbury Depot, BS35 3UF

HGV Skip Driver – Thornbury Depot (Bristol Area)

We are looking for skilled and reliable HGV Skip Drivers to join our expanding team. Operating from our Thornbury depot, you will complete a variety of daily skip deliveries and collections across the Bristol area, servicing commercial, construction, and domestic customers.

Key Responsibilities

Operate skip lorries safely and efficiently
Deliver and collect skips across multiple sites daily
Position skips accurately and safely in line with site requirements
Exchange full skips for empty units as scheduled
Follow daily job schedules while adapting to changing customer needs
Communicate effectively with customers, site staff, and office teams
Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain high safety standards

What We’re Looking For

Experience operating skip lorries (preferred)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Good awareness of health and safety regulations
Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy workload
Valid CPC qualification is essential
A professional and customer-focused attitude
