We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Lindholme, a Category C male adult prison based in Doncaster, with operational capacity of around 900.

Parking on-site, additional training offered if you are interested in specific areas within healthcare, and working as part of a really strong team, who all really supportive of each other.

Hours

37.5 hours, working on a 2 week rota, 4x shifts a week working 7.30am-5.30pm, plus 2 weekends a month.

Salary

This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £41658 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will

Provide outstanding quality based patient centred care to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
Focussing on providing a safe and secure medicines management service, ensuring patient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard.
Deliver non-judgemental care within the scope of professional standards. Involving anything from the timely administration of medicines through to analysing cost effective prescribing as defined through our unique health in justice medicines policy.

NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
General GCSE education or equivalent
Able to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
