Full job description

We are seeking a reliable, organized Freelance Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to manage financial recordkeeping and administrative duties for 3 local businesses.

In this role, you will maintain clear financial records, manage invoices, and keep track of account balances across all three accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Account Management:

Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records using FreeAgent across 3 business accounts.
Promptly upload, categorize, and reconcile invoices and receipts.
Monitor, track, and reconcile bank statements and account balances regularly.
Track outstanding accounts receivable and assist with accounts payable.
Administrative Support:
Organize and maintain digital filing systems for each business.
Handle routine administrative tasks and financial admin support as required.
Requirements & Qualifications

Experience:

Proven freelance or agency experience in bookkeeping and office administration.

Software:

Proficiency with FreeAgent software is essential.

Key Skills:

Excellent time management to balance workload across 3 separate entities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

Location: Must be locally based for occasional in-person check-ins or paperwork drop-offs if required.

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Barrow-In-Furness
