Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in diverse settings, including commercial, hospitality, and residential environments. The ideal applicant will be organised, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness standards.
Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas regularly.
Ensure all surfaces are free from dust, dirt, and stains using appropriate cleaning agents.
Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed.
Handle specialised cleaning tasks in line with client requirements, including carpet cleaning or window washing when necessary.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while interacting with clients or visitors.

Qualifications

Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is desirable.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to organisational standards.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
