Full job description

Role: Assembler

Location: Blackpool, FY4 4NW

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 07:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday

Hourly rate: between £18.43 - £19.10 ph DOE

Are you hands-on, detail-focused, and take pride in delivering high-quality work? We’re looking for an Assembler to join a fast-paced production environment.

What you’ll be doing:

Assembling mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools
Working to clear build instructions, on-screen guidance, and set production times
Ensuring all products are built to a high standard and are fully functional and defect-free
Identifying and reporting quality issues and supporting resolutions
Maintaining consistent output while meeting targets and deadlines
Collaborating with team members and supporting smooth production flow
Taking ownership of quality and contributing to continuous improvement

What we’re looking for:

Experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or fitting environment
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Confidence using hand tools and power tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
Flexibility to support overtime or additional shifts when required
