About Us:

We are now looking for a creative and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team and help bring smiles to the faces of those in our care.

Summary:

As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a variety of engaging, inclusive, and person-centred activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for our residents. You will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life within our home.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement a diverse and stimulating activities programme
Encourage resident participation in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities
Liaise with families, volunteers, and community groups to support activity sessions
Organise events, celebrations, themed days, and outings
Tailor activities to suit individual care plans and personal interests
Maintain records of activities, risk assessments, and feedback
Promote inclusion and a positive atmosphere throughout the home

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with older adults or in a care home setting (preferred)
Creativity, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills
Use your musical talents (e.g., piano, guitar, singing) to entertain and connect with residents. (desirable but not essential)
Friendly, approachable, and patient nature
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Organisational and time-management skills
Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends for special events
A valid UK driving licence
