Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the kitchen. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes according to specified recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or fish stations, ensuring efficient workflow.
Assist in the organisation and management of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage in line with food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to hygiene standards at all times.
Support junior kitchen staff through training and supervision, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Monitor portion sizes and presentation to ensure dishes meet the establishment’s standards.
Collaborate with head chefs and other team members to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with multiple responsibilities.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques across various cuisines is desirable.
Previous restaurant experience involving serving guests is advantageous but not essential. This position provides an excellent platform for career growth within the culinary industry, offering opportunities to refine skills and take on greater responsibilities in a professional setting.

Pay: £24,420.00-£29,000.00 per year
