About Us

We are an independent, feline-only veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional care for cats and an outstanding experience for their owners. Our small, supportive team shares a genuine passion for feline medicine, nursing excellence and client care. We have created a place that is welcoming not only for cats and their carers, but also for our team members. At Graylands Cat Clinic, we are passionate about delivering exceptional feline care while promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Since opening our purpose-built clinic in November 2023, we've been dedicated to creating a calm, compassionate environment where cats receive truly individualised care. We are proud to be both an ISFM Gold Cat Friendly Clinic and Zero Pain Philosophy Accredited, reflecting our commitment to evidence-based, fear-free feline medicine.

As an independent practice, we have the freedom to do things properly. We invest in our people, encourage new ideas, and believe that every member of the team should have the opportunity to develop, contribute and feel genuinely valued.

We want our RVNs to feel valued, empowered and involved throughout their patients' journeys. Nurses play an integral role in our practice, leading and developing a range of nurse-led clinics, including Kitten Clubs to support new kitten owners, Weight Clinics, Dental Clinics and Osteoarthritis Clinics, to name just a few. Our nurses play a key role in keeping clients engaged in their cat’s health journey.

We believe strongly that client education and empowerment is key to feline welfare. That’s why we want our nurses to be both educators and advisors to our clients. This approach has allowed us to build strong relationships with cat owners and has been a source of immense satisfaction for our nursing team.

The Role

We are looking for an RVN who:

Understands and has experience in feline medicine
Is competent in all areas of clinical nursing (consultations, general anaesthetic monitoring, hospitalised patients)
Enjoys implementing evidence-based nursing in daily practice
Is proactive and a strong team player
Is keen to provide holistic care to both clients and patients
Is aware of and can comply to recent feline-friendly handling guidelines and fear-free philosophy
Interest in dentistry is a plus, as dental disease is the most common issue in cats and we deal with it daily!

We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who is passionate about feline nursing and combines strong clinical skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.

As a small team, collaboration, flexibility and a willingness to get involved is key. In return, we can offer a supportive and engaging workplace in which learning and development are encouraged alongside a healthy work-life balance.

Essential Requirements

Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
Strong clinical nursing skills across anaesthesia, hospital care and consultations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient and client care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment.
The confidence to make decisions, provide constructive feedback and support colleagues.
A genuine desire to create an outstanding experience for both patients and clients.
Awareness of cat-friendly and fear-free approach

Desirable Requirements

Experience in a feline-focused or cat-friendly practice.
Additional feline nursing qualifications or certifications.
