The Role
Iberica Food is an importer and distributor of authentic Spanish and Mediterranean food in the UK, selling through wholesale, retail and online channels.
We are looking for a Commercial Manager to lead B2B sales, manage the sales pipeline, follow up new opportunities, and drive customer growth.
This is primarily a sales-led role. The successful candidate must be confident speaking to customers, opening new accounts, reactivating dormant customers and converting opportunities into sales.
The role will also help build and drive the marketing strategy, making sure campaigns support sales growth, margin and customer development. Day-to-day marketing execution will remain with the existing marketing team.
We need someone organised, proactive and commercially focused, who can bring structure, follow-up and accountability to the sales and marketing function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead B2B sales activity, including customer calls, new business development and follow-ups.
- Manage and support the B2B Sales Reps, including weekly targets, pipeline reviews and customer actions.
- Grow sales with restaurants, delis, retailers, hospitality and wholesale customers.
- Identify new B2B opportunities and reactivate dormant accounts.
- Set clear marketing priorities linked to sales, margin and customer growth.
- Work with the marketing team to deliver campaigns clearly and on time.
- Recommend campaign activity and spend, with final budgets approved by the Director.
- Support customer tastings, product training, events and market activity where commercially beneficial.
- Produce weekly and monthly reporting covering sales activity, pipeline, leads, campaigns and opportunities.
- Provide responsible site cover when neither the Director nor the Head of Operations are on site, escalating issues where needed.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in B2B sales, account management or sales team management.
- Strong follow-up discipline and good commercial judgement.
- Confidence managing people and holding them accountable.
- Experience planning or coordinating marketing campaigns.
- Good understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, newsletters and social media.
- Strong organisation, reporting and Excel skills.
- Ability to work in a hands-on SME environment.
- Food, FMCG, hospitality, wholesale or retail experience would be an advantage.
- Fluent English. Spanish would be an advantage.

This role must help Iberica Ltd become more structured and commercially focused by taking ownership of B2B sales activity, improving sales and marketing coordination, and driving sales growth, margin and customer development.
The priority is to lead B2B sales: proactively contacting customers, managing follow-ups, developing the sales pipeline and converting commercial opportunities.
What’s on Offer
- Salary: £34,000 – £38,000, depending on experience.
- Performance bonus: To be agreed, linked to sales growth, campaign performance and profitability.
- Contract: Full-time, permanent.
