About Us

Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa is a luxury, four AA red star guest destination nestled in Newmarket, Suffolk. The Team

We are a privately owned, independent 4 Red Star Hotel and Spa. The successful candidate will be joining our Conference & Events team at Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa to provide an exceptional experience for guests hosting and attending a variety of events. We strive to create a great work place for our staff which includes many staff benefits.

The Position

As part of the Conference & Events waiting team you will join a friendly, flexible and customer-focused team, catering a wide variety of events and celebrations held at Bedford Lodge Hotel.

You will play a key part in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service, whether their event be for business or pleasure.

With no two days the same working in Conference & Events, you will have the self-motivation to thrive in a demanding environment working alongside your peers.

Experience is not a must as training will be provided, however it is preferred for this position.

This is a casual position working as a when required per the weekly rota.

About You

You must have excellent customer care and communication skills
You must have flexibility and availability to work evenings and weekends
You must be organised, timely and pro-active
You are neat and well-presented
You are physical fit and able to meet the demands of the role
You have a desire to work in a professional, guest focused environment
Ideally you have experience in waiting and/or bar work, however you will be given training as needed.
