Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our hospitality and food service environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for culinary arts, team management, and hospitality to lead a motivated team in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Lead and supervise a team of kitchen staff, servers, and other hospitality personnel to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices across all areas of the establishment
Coordinate food production schedules and manage inventory levels effectively
Provide training and mentorship to team members to foster professional development
Monitor customer service delivery, addressing any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
Assist in organising shifts, delegating tasks, and maintaining a positive work environment
Uphold organisational policies related to health & safety, cleanliness, and service standards
Support the recruitment process by participating in interviews and onboarding new staff members

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen experience
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
Experience in team management with demonstrated leadership skills
Familiarity with restaurant, hotel, or barista experience is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team
Previous experience in serving guests or customers is advantageous
Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
A passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences
