Overview

Sporty Scholars Kids Holiday Camps is a multi-sport & activity camp for children aged 3-14 over the school holidays. We ensure every child is safe, active and has a fun experience at our holiday camps!

We are looking for

Sports & Activity Leaders
QTS qualified teachers, Level 3 Childcare Practitioners
Camp Managers

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our Kids Holiday Camps as seasonal staff during school holiday periods. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with children in a fun, safe, and educational environment. The position is ideal for those passionate about working with children and creating memorable experiences during school breaks. Candidates should be available during holiday weeks and enjoy leading activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction.

Duties

Plan and facilitate engaging activities, games, and crafts suitable for children of various age groups
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children throughout the camp day
Assist in setting up and cleaning activity areas before and after sessions
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring proper behavior and participation
Support team members in managing daily camp operations and transitions between activities (camp managers)
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding camper progress or concerns (camp managers & eyfs leaders)
Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and fun

Skills

Prior experience working with children in educational, recreational, or childcare settings is preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children and team members
Patience, adaptability, and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
Ability to lead activities safely while maintaining enthusiasm and engagement
Creativity in planning diverse activities that cater to different interests and age groups
Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided
Reliable, responsible, and able to commit during scheduled holiday weeks
