Job Summary
WM Construction (SW) Ltd is looking for a motivated, organised and reliable individual to take responsibility for managing our in-house plant, tools and stores, while supporting our site teams across a range of high-quality construction projects.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone practical, forward-thinking and willing to take ownership. The position could suit a semi-skilled labourer, experienced site operative, delivery driver with construction knowledge, or someone looking to grow within the building industry.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for helping keep the business moving day to day, including:
● Managing and organising company plant, small tools, materials and stores
● Delivering and collecting plant, tools and materials between sites
● Handling items such as diggers, towers, breakers, small tools and general site equipment
● Supporting site teams with materials, waste removal and general site organisation
● Keeping sites clean, tidy and safe in a methodical manner
● Loading, unloading and manual handling
● Planning routes and prioritising tasks efficiently
● Checking equipment in and out and helping maintain good order within the yard/store
● Mucking in with general labouring and site support where required
This is a physical role and would suit someone who takes pride in being useful, organised and one step ahead.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
Trailer towing experience would be an advantage, and experience with plant, machinery, tools or construction sites would also be beneficial.
Training & Progression
For the right person, WM Construction will provide training where required and where genuine interest develops.
This could include support with:
● Plant and machinery tickets
● Trailer towing / driving development
● Tool and plant knowledge
● Site skills and construction progression
● Further responsibility within the business

Hours & Pay
● Full-time role
● Approximately 45 hours per week
● Usual working hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm
● Optional overtime may be available when required
● Employed or self-employed options can be discussed
● Competitive rates of pay available for the right applicant
