Full job description

Grooming Paws is on the search for a experienced Dog Groomer. For part time hours 2/3 days per week flexible, includes optional Saturdays 9.30-4.30 Must be experience of all breeds Must be able to complete a groom solely on all breeds.

Applicants who are currently working towards their Level 3 qualification may also be considered, provided they already have some practical grooming experience and are confident grooming with minimal supervision.

You will be taking on customers ready and waiting and working alone so experience essential. Grooming paws is very lucky to have a wonderful client base and amazing woofs to groom. The perfect person will need to be Amazing around dogs and have that animal connection and a love of everything dog (the good and the bad) must understand dog behaviour Top quality grooms finished to a high standard Reliable and good time keeping Personality to treat customers well Ability to work on your own and take pride in every groom. Duties to include: All aspects of dog grooming, bathing, drying, brushing, desheding, clipping, scissoring, nail clipping Salon cleaning, appointment bookings system using Savvy pet spa. Taking payments and being solely responsible for the running of the salon on your working days. A trial day may be asked and evidence of work is required. £14 per hour, days flexible 14 to 21 hours per week extra hours available If you are intrested in this role please send a covering letter outlining your experience and why you would be a suitable fit.
