The Pentland Hotel, Thurso, is one of three hotels in The Caithness Collection, an established family hotel business, with over 35 years of hospitality experience.
The hotel has 42 rooms, which caters for tour buses from April to October, we have a strong local client following allowing us to stay open all year round.
The bar has 60 covers, dining room 60 covers and a ballroom which dines 120 for events.
Our previous Head Chef has moved to our sister hotel, has been with us 17 years.
Head Chef Responsibilities
* Responsible for a team of 6-8 staff, food preparation and overseeing the standards of food quality.
* Ordering, rotas, menu planning and organisation of the team.
* Hands on cooking and developing the kitchen team
* Managing the cleaning , monitoring of food safety standard records
