Job Purpose:
To take a lead role in developing & carrying out Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul procedures for Commercial Airline Ancillary equipment. This includes the validation of the procedure, process & activity to comply with Aviation safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work through aircraft equipment manuals to develop in house capability for scheduled & unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Liaise effectively with designers, engineers and quality engineers to ensure test facilities are in place.
- Liaise effectively with designers, engineers and quality production engineers to ensure adequate tooling is available.
- Be internal first point of call for new capability assessment.
- Interrogate equipment OEM manuals to identify spare part requirements.
- Carryout aircraft equipment scheduled maintenance to qualify in house procedures & processes.
- Introduce new capabilities into the work flow
- Maintain a fully traceable technical file for each project.
Key Requirements:
Experience
- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing engineering environment.
- Demonstrated hands on experience of equipment maintenance.
- Experience with commercial aircraft equipment or other high precision industry.
- Familiar with high flow air movement equipment, thermal transfer equipment, pressure testing & high precision assembly.
- Demonstrable experience of working within a highly regulated industry.
- Ideally from an Aerospace maintenance environment

Salary:
- Dependent on skills and experience
Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
