Hours: 4 on 4 off rotation of days and nights including weekends
Compensation: £34,551 + shift allowance £1,709

About The Role
Working as a Warehouse Planner within a very busy with Fast Moving Consumable Goods terminal, your role with us will play an important one in the day-to-day operations. You will handle a variety of queries internally with colleagues, and externally with the customer, so no two days will be the same. The Warehouse Planner is responsible for planning & coordinating warehouse loading, unloading and stock put-away activities. The role acts as the main point of control for releasing loads to warehouse operatives and ensuring trailers are loaded accurately, safely, and on schedule. Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Planner will manage workflow priorities, monitor stock movement, and maintain communication with customers regarding shortages, delays, or operational issues.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary coordinator for all inbound and outbound warehouse loads.

Release and assign loads to warehouse operatives for loading onto trailers.

Coordinate trailer loading schedules to ensure on time dispatch.

Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and management to manage daily warehouse operations and priorities.

Ensure all loads are accurately picked, staged, and loaded according to our in-house WMS (Warehouse Management System).

Oversee put away operations for incoming stock into correct warehouse locations.

Monitor warehouse workflow to maximise loading efficiency and minimise delays.

Communicate with transport teams, drivers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding load readiness and dispatch times.

Keep customers informed of shortages, delays, damages, or any operational issues that may affect deliveries.

Verify load accuracy and ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Support inventory accuracy through stock checks and system updates.

Previous experience with SAP and Transporeon systems would be an advantage but not essential
