Lead a Growing National Grounds Maintenance Team
AMC FM is a leading facilities management company delivering grounds maintenance, external cleaning and specialist facilities services to commercial clients across the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to supervise and support our team of operatives working on commercial sites nationwide.
This is a hands-on role where you will lead by example, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the high standards expected by our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day supervision of grounds maintenance operatives
- Allocating tasks and coordinating site activities
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to specification
- Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Weed control and border maintenance
- Leaf clearance and seasonal grounds maintenance
- Site inspections and quality checks
- Liaising with clients and reporting site issues
- Operating grounds maintenance equipment and vehicles
- Ensuring equipment is maintained and used correctly
- Supporting the mobilisation of new contracts and sites
What We're Looking For - Essential
- Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience
- Experience supervising or leading a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience towing trailers
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to travel and work on sites throughout the UK
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Desirable
- PA1 / PA6 qualifications
- CSCS card
- Experience working on commercial grounds maintenance contracts
- Experience operating ride-on mowers and commercial equipment
- First Aid qualification
- Facilities management or multi-site maintenance experience
