Marketing Executive – Synergy Excel Group

Location: Canterbury or Ashford

Hours: Full time

£35k per annum (£30k within a 6 month probationary period)

About us

We are a well-established, family owned and operated recycling and logistics business. Our focus is on reliability, long term customer relationships, and practical solutions. Our business has an informal but hardworking culture, with a retention rate we’re proud of.

The Role

We are looking for a Marketing Executive with a minimum of two years experience to manage day to day marketing activity across the business. This is a hands-on role covering social media, website updates and development, CRM management and lead generation, compliance collateral with a strong emphasis on organisation.

Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

Plan, create and schedule content across all channels
Maintain a consistent, brand messaging and tone of voice
Monitor engagement and adjust content based on performance
Respond to public engagement and create greater collaboration with followers
Liaise with specialist partners in creating long form content to be distributed amongst company platforms.

Website Management

Manage routine website updates
Ensure information is accurate and up to date
Liaise with external stakeholders when required to support
Squarespace Knowledge desired but not essential
SEO experience is required to manage website promotion and advertising

CRM & Lead Generation

Manage and maintain CRM data
Support email campaigns and outbound communications
Track inbound enquiries and support lead follow up processes
Ability to liaise with event management teams to lead company exhibitions and events

Operations & Reporting

Maintain marketing calendars and campaign trackers
Produce basic performance reports for all efforts
Support sales, compliance, and operations teams with marketing collateral

About You

2+ years’ experience in a marketing or communications role
Confident managing social media channels independently
Comfortable updating websites using Squarespace
Organised, detail focused and reliable
Clear written communication skills

Desirable

Experience with CRM systems and email marketing tools
Design skills using Canva
Understanding of lead generation and B2B marketing
