Full job description

Job Title: Bar Manager

Location: Various - UK based events
Pay: £200 per day - Minimum 3 Days a week
Contract: Temporary

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Manager to lead the operations of festival and event bars. This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee all aspects of bar service, ensure smooth daily operations. We're a national based company so we travel to each of thevents

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
Supervise, train, and motivate bar staff to maintain excellent customer service.
Oversee stock control, ordering, and deliveries to ensure sufficient supplies throughout the event.
Handle cashing up, till management, and daily sales reporting.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and hygiene regulations.
Work closely with event management to maintain the festive theme and atmosphere.
Handle customer queries and resolve any issues quickly and professionally.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe bar environment at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Bar Manager or Senior Bartender in a busy venue.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, festive environment.
Personal Licence Holder (preferred but not essential).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during peak holiday dates.
