Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty salon. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional nail services and enhancing clients' overall experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in a dynamic environment, providing a range of beauty treatments while contributing to our welcoming atmosphere. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail care, engaging with clients, and supporting the overall operation of the salon.

Duties

Providing a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, if possible hard gel, and nail art.
Assisting clients with colour selection and offering personalised recommendations to enhance their look.
Maintaining a clean and hygienic work station in accordance with health and safety standards.
Managing appointment schedules efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations.
Promoting additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or deep tissue massage when appropriate.
Engaging with clients to build rapport and ensure their satisfaction with services provided.
Managing social media accounts to promote the salon’s services and special offers.
Handling front desk responsibilities including greeting guests, managing bookings, and processing payments.
Upselling products and services to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Supporting management with organisational tasks such as stock replenishment and maintaining cleanliness.

Skills

Proven experience in nail artistry and beauty treatments with relevant certifications preferred.
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
Strong customer service orientation ensuring clients feel valued and cared for throughout their visit.
Management skills for scheduling appointments, maintaining client records, and overseeing daily operations.
Experience in social media management to help promote the salon’s brand online.
Ability to upsell additional services in a professional manner that enhances client experience.

Pay: £12.21-£32.24 per hour
