Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Fence Installer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various types of fencing, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on each project. Duties
- Measure and mark fencing layouts according to project specifications
- Prepare the site by clearing debris and ensuring a safe working environment
- Install fence posts using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper alignment and stability
- Attach panels or boards securely using appropriate fasteners and techniques
- Operate machinery such as post drivers, drills, and saws safely and effectively
- Ensure all fencing installations meet safety standards and client expectations
- Assist in the maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure longevity and safety
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes
Skills
- Familiarity with hand tools (hammers, chisels, levels) and power tools (drills, saws)
- Strong physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and safety protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
