Full job description

Burnham on Crouch Golf Club is looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Office Administrator to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis.

This is a varied and engaging opportunity to work in a welcoming members’ club. You will provide a warm and professional point of contact for members and visitors while supporting membership administration, golf society bookings, member communications and the smooth day-to-day running of the Club office.

Key Responsibilities

· Reconciling weekly bar and office takings and preparing banking

· Processing new membership applications and maintaining the members database

· Supporting annual membership renewals

· Coordinating golf society bookings, confirming requirements with all departments, issuing invoices and maintaining society records

· Preparing newsletters, updating website content and producing digital marketing material

· Assisting with Club events, communications and social media content

· Responding to daily enquiries by phone, email and in person

· Supporting AGM administration and routine health & safety checks

· Minute-taking for the House Committee and other committees when required

· Monitoring office stationery and cleaning supplies and placing orders

· Providing administrative support to Club Managers, Clubhouse Manager and Course Manager

Required Skills

· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and manage multiple priorities

· Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

· Knowledge of golf is desirable but not essential.
