At Sudbury Silk Mills, we craft luxury fabrics with passion and commitment to sustainability in the heart of Suffolk. We're seeking a dynamic and organised QC Manager to join our team and make a difference!
What You'll Do:
- Lead and support the day-to-day Fabric Quality function within a specialist textile manufacturing environment
- Coordinate quality priorities and decision-making to support manufacturing flow, delivery performance, and customer requirements
- Work closely with Manufacturing and wider teams to strengthen communication, consistency, and problem solving
- Support investigation of quality issues and help drive practical continuous improvement activity
- Develop capability, confidence, and consistency within the wider Fabric Quality team through coaching and support
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience leading or supporting teams within a manufacturing or quality-focused environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities and make decisions under pressure
- Experience working with quality control, inspection, or operational improvement processes
- A practical, collaborative, and hands-on approach with willingness to learn within a specialist textile manufacturing environment
