Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician / Dispensary Assistant to join our dynamic team in providing excellent pharmaceutical services for local community surrounding Ringwood area. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacist/ pharmacy team in dispensing medication and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed medications, and placing orders
- Interact with patients to process prescriptions and provide information on medications
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and laws
- Handle administrative tasks such as record-keeping and managing customer queries
- Support pharmacists in medication administration and patient care
- Serving walk-in customers and giving healthcare advices
Skills:
- Proficient in medication administration procedures
- Strong focus on patient care and safety
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with good organisational skills
- Qualified as a Pharmacy Technician or undergoing relevant training
- In-house pharmacy training will be provided
