EXE ADVENTURES is a family-friendly mobile watersports business operating on the Exeter Canal in the summer season.
Since 2013 we have offered our popular daily "Social Pub Paddle" as well as lessons and kit hire. We offer Kayaking, Canoeing, Paddleboarding, and Mega SUP experiences everyday.
We are based in Starcross and operate across the wider area using our Exe Adventures minibus and trailer Staff help collect groups from Dawlish Warren campsites and other local locations for our watersports activities.
We are looking for passionate and outgoing watersports instructors to join our team for the summer season. This role is ideal for people aged 18+ who enjoy the outdoors, working with people and spending time on the water.
British Canoeing Qualifications are desirable.
Full training and Qualifications will be provided.
Get trained/ Updated in: First Aid, British Canoeing Qualifications and as a Lifeguard: Pool lifeguard. And if interested OWL and Beach Lifeguard.
The job role will include:
- Welcoming and talking with customers
- Leading and assisting group sessions
- Selling sessions and promoting activities
- Setting up and transporting equipment
- Loading and securing equipment to trailers
- Assisting with pub paddle trips and large bookings
- Handling payments and customer enquiries
- Marketing and social media experience is desirable

Pay is £13.50 per hour depending on experience, qualifications, responsibilities. Additional bonuses and incentives may also be available for staff who generate bookings and new business opportunities.
